About:Chinese Embassy in France

Australian tourist in France seeking visa whilst in Paris

We are an Australian family holidaying here who wish to take a train through Russia into China. Are we able to submit our Australian passports to the Chinese Embassy in Paris or is there a problem because we are not permanent residents?

As I know, they only accept applications from the residents there. Anyway, you can confirm this with the CVASC in Paris via tel: 0179970339.

thanks Bill. I tried the number however my French is not very good so couldn't understand the message. Tried phoning the embassy but they spoke no English. I need to send passports back for the Russian visas so might need to get the Chinese one there as well.

Do you have any friend there who speaks French? You may also have a try to apply directly at CVASC in Paris:
