About:China Postal Service

Was my parcel delivered to wrong address?Trace code RJ852026067GB.

I sent a parcel to 48 Long Xi East Road, Liwan District, Guangzhou, Guangdong, CHINA 510375 on 09/09/2013

China Post verifies this traced parcel arrived and was dispatched from 10010200 on 14/09/2012
China Post verifies this parcel was delivered to 5103100 on 29/09/2012.
The addressee says the parcel never arrived.
Do these postcodes/zipcodes suggest that I had wrongly addressed my parcel?
Thank you!
Pete.

It is suggested to ask the China Post at your country directly and ask them to help you to find more detail information.

Thank you, Diwa, for your quick reply! "Royal Mail" are of no help. All they can do is to read "China mail" - which is what I just did. The big question is this: Firstly, the parcel contained an expensive product which I had returned because it was faulty. Secondly, the address they supplied to me (Liwan District) had the postcode "510375" - SIX digits. China Post says that the parcel arrived in China at postcode 10010200. It was sorted there and delivered to postcode 51003100. Both of these have EIGHT digits. My conclusion is that the company gave me the wrong postcode for their address and the parcel has been lost!. So I must conclude that the company are telling me the truth when they say the parcel did not arrive therefore I have lost my "Expensive item"!

PS - I must congratulate "Postal service in China" for this communication channel. "Royal Mail" in the uk only allows communication by written letter and takes many days to reply to an enquiry!
