Dual nationalities Jordanian and Canadian can I have a visa on my Canadian passport in Jordan

can I apply for X- student on my Canadian passport from Chinese Embassy in Jordan what other documents I need other than the Admission Notice from the university. or it doesn't matter in which passport I use
the reason is I am studying in Canada and applied to the university as Canadian high school diploma holder but I'll be visiting Jordan in the coming summer so can I apply from Jordan.
