I am an Australian citizen wanting to fly from Kazakstan to Kuala Lumpur, I need to transit at Guangzhou, am I able to obtain a VOA or must I get one before leaving. Is it possible to get a rush one in Melbourne? I will also get a Malaysian VOA in KL. thanks, Tom

Hi, if your stopover in Guangzhou is less than 24 hours, you are not required to apply for a visa. If it is longer than 24 hours, you need to apply in Melbourne, rush service is available through CVASC.
