About:Shenzhen Airport Transport to Hong Kong & Macau

Is it best to take a bus from Shenzhen Airport to Hong Kong when visiting people who live in Hk?

Does the bus take longer during Chinese holiday periods because of traffic or immigration controls? Also on the return trip from HK to Shenzhen airport can one pay in RMB for the bus ticket?

Yes, you are right. The bus is the best transportation method.
It will not take longer than usual and it takes about two hours during the journey.
For the return trip, you may need to pay HK$.

I see the price as CNY 90. What is the price in HK$? Also where does the bus from Baoan Airport drop off passengers in HK and are these the same places where one can get the bus returning to the airport?

According to latest rate, it should be around 114HKD.

The bus will take you to Kowloon or Wan Chai, HK.

To get the bus for the back journey, you can catch at China Travel Prince Edward branch, Wan Chai branch, Mong Kok branch and other locations.
