72 hr visa: Taipei > Shanghai > Hong Kong

Hi there,

Just wanted to confirm whether flying from Taipei to Shanghai then Hong Kong would enable me to take advantage of the 72 hour free transit? Is that organised by the airline or by myself when I arrive at Shanghai?

Yes, your itinerary applies to this policy. You need to inform your airlines about this free transit request before landing so that they will report your needs to the airport, and you will be granted a stay permit on arrival.
