Hi i am an Indian passport holder currently in China in F. Can i apply a new one in HK ?

I am currently in China in F since Jan 2013 which expires on 7th May . I was informed i can apply in HK for a new one with a Govt authority invitation letter and co invitation letter . I have both Govt invitation letter for 6 months multi entry with 30 days staty each time and also a foreign investment company invitation + the company registration photocopy with co stamp . I need to know what else do i need to prepare for application in Hong Kong ? Is there any problem to get it in HK for Indian passport holder ? Thanks for giving me a full detail what i need to prepare urgently as i will travel to HK on Monday 6th May 2013 for application and dont want to have trouble on arrival . Thanks .

Hi, The documents above are sufficient. But as I know, applicants without HK resident status can not apply for multi-entry at HK office. You can call the Commissioner's Office directly via Tel: +852-21066303

Anyway, make sure provide your valid passport (at least six months before expiration) with at least two blank pages left and under good condition, completed application form A and B with clean and tidy hand-writting, one colored passport photo taken in the last six months.

Thank you for your prompt reply . I will prepare all documents accordingly . Please can you advisee if it is better to apply for L in this case with longer duration ? I am actually applying for a company registration with fully foreign investment at the moment . But the process will be completed only by June end and till then i need valid visa to stay here. After company registration , as a investor , i have no problem to get my Z. So can you suggest the best way to apply with 3 months stay at least without having to exit . Thanks in advance .

Sorry one more question if i apply for F, do i need to show hotel booking confirmation and return flight copy ?

Yes, F for business is better, but you should prepare financial proof, a copy of Chinese hotel booking and return flight ticket booking.
