About:China Customs Declaration

Any item that will be left in China whose value exceeds 2,000 CNY?

Can you clarify if this is per item or ALL items in total? If it's per item, how many bags would I be allowed to bring back without declaring? These bags were brought over the past few years and no longer have receipts.

By bags, I do mean coach handbags.

As I know, it refers to the value of the total/all items. If the value exceeds CNY2,000, you have to declare.
