About:China Transit Visa

Do I need a visa for 12 transit at Guangzhou Baiyan Airport

Hi. I am an Australian. I have a transit of 12 hours at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport. I would like a hotel room for the night. Do I need one to exit the airport?

no, it is not necessary. You can apply for a stay permit at the airport if you have to go out for a hotel.
