I am a french citizen living in Singapore and I have planned to visit in July-August.Unfortunately, I don't know anyone there, so what can I write about the questions Your contact?Also, I don't know exactly in which hotel I will stay, because I travel with a travel book and see on place which hotel I want, so what do I need to write about the questions Residence(s) and phone number(s) during your stay ?If I want to go to HK, the same problem is there again...Thank you in advance

You need a L type one to visit mainland PRC. In order to get it, you have to provide an invitation letter from any authorized Chinese company / organization or individual Chinese. If you can't provide the invitation letter, you have to provide round-trip air tickets and hotel reservation. So I am afraid that you can't make your trip if you don't get one. After you get it, you know clearly how to fill the form.
