About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Am I eligible?

Hello, I am a permanent resident of Canada and I have Philippine passport. I have a 5-hour layover in Beijing (from Manila) and planning to take sightseeing tour before my next flight to Toronto. Am I eligible for free transit? Thanks

I am afraid that you can't enjoy the 72 hours free transit since you hold Philippine passport. As you just have a five hours layover there, you needn't apply for a transit visa. But you need to apply for the stay permit if you want to get out of the airport.
