About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Myself and my partner have a one-way ticket to Beijing this August, we wish for a double entry VISA

so we can visit Hong Kong and then come back into mainland to get a flight from Guangzhou to Vietnam. Do we need to provide booked accommodation for the whole duration we are there?

Also, I have been to China once before but my partner has not - will this be an issue to get a double entry VISA??

Hi, round trip ticket is required. If you plan to go back from Guangzhou, you'd better book ticket for leaving as well for application. Hotel bookings for a few nights are enough, it is not necessary to prepare it for the whole trip. If you want a double entry, ticket to HK and hotel bookings there are helpful. Then it will not be a problem for any of you.

Thanks for the reply Mars :-)

So will it not matter that our flight out of China is not back to our home country but to another destination?

Also, we are planning on staying in hostels and the one we have booked so far only has one of our names on the reservation email but we are obviously travelling together - are applications processed together or individually?

Many thanks for your help!

Yes, ticket to another country is ok too. The applications are processed together if you apply at the same time and share documents (the reservation).
