lower soft berth from guangzhou to guilin..

Question

We wish to book 2 lower soft berth by overnight train to Guilin from GZ on May 14,2013. We arrive GZ by May 8.How much chance to get the ticket and where to buy? I heard GZ railway station right? But we r concerned we couldn't sleep well on hard berth n risk being stolen by thieves. What the train look alike? We have experienced CRH train n old train from HK to GZ before.

The environment on the hard sleeper is good, but the trains between the two places operate in about 12 to 13 hours on the way, so the soft sleeper is highly recommended for you. For booking, I think you can search the train on https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/ and then book on it. The train for Guilin starts from Canton Railway Station. If you book the train tickets 20 days before, it is probably to get the tickets.
