ticket says cny40 includes panda houseboat for beijing zoo?

what is the boat for?and also.. what if i want to visit the zoo... drop by Purple Bamboo for a stroll via the boat and proceed to Summer Palace using the same boat..could i purchase a one way ticket to Purple Garden instead and purchase another one way from there to Summer Palace.and since this same boat comes from the zoo, will i be assured there will be seats when the ferry stops at Purple Garden before proceeding to the Summer Palace? thanks!!

The boat is heading for the Summer Palace or the Purple Bamboo Garden, but not operate in the zoo.If you buy the ticket to the Summer Palace, you can stop at Purple Bamboo for a stroll and then go back to take the boat.Yes, you cannot buy one way ticket to the Purple Garden and then purchase another way to the Summer Palace.There are many boat along the river, so please do not worry about the seats problem.

thanks!! when you say purchase a ticket to summer palace and get off at purple bamboo. do you mean i could use this same ticket to board a diff boat going to summer palace? kind of like hop on hop off?
