About:Beijing Transportation Smart Card

if for example im planning to go to Shanghai after Beijing, could i also use the smart card for transportation?

if not, is there a similar kind for Shanghai?

No, the card of BJ cannot be used in Shanghai. You can get such a similar smart card in Shanghai as well. Don't worry!
