Do I need a single or double entry?

I am cruising from Singapore to Shanghai in June. One of the ports visited is Hong Kong. Am unsure if I need a single entry (Shanghai) or a double entry to include Hong Kong.

A single entry is enough. HK is different from mainland where that entry is not required.
