About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

travel through europe to China

The two of us are planning a trip from the UK to Nepal VIA China, by motor vehicle
We would be entering China at the border with Kyrgyzstan to Kashgar
Then travel on the G314, G315, G219 and G318 national highways to Kodari Nepal
With a visit to Lhasa on the way if possible
What will we need in the way visa and permit. Les

You need to apply for a Chinese tourist visa and a Tibet Travel Permit. And if you drive with your own vehicle, you need to get the necessary permits and documents from Chinese government department. So, you have to contact a travel agency for this first.
