About:Huanglong National Scenic Reserve

Huanglong open hours

Is it true, that place closes at 16:40?
I'd like to visit it in the end of April. My flight comes in the airport at 15:50 and i'd like to visit HL at the same say and then go to Jiuzhaigou. Is it possible?

Maybe a little later. I remember my tour guide told me that it is usually close around 17:00. Anyway, I don't think you have enough time to visit the attraction in the same day. Try to cover both of the destinations in the next day.

And if I do get there - can I find in HL scenic area the taxi in the evening to Jiuzhaigou?

If the attraction will be opened - i'll have enough time to visit it before darkness, the sunset will be at 19:30. I think it's enough if the cable car will work. =)

It will be hard to find a taxi in the evening, but if you really want, it is suggested to book a car in advance.
