About:Chinese Consulate in Sydney

I live in country NSW and need visas

Hello. I am booked to travel for 8 days from 6 June to 13 June 2013 with myself (52) and two 18 year olds. We all live in country NSW, and I wonder if it is generally acceptable to apply by mail? It would be a significant difficulty for any of us to get to Sydney to submit the application. All your advice would be welcomely received.
Regards Anne
