About:Beijing Transportation Smart Card

Staying 3-4 days in Beijing.How much we should put on the smart card?

Well, I suggest you put CNY50 into the card firstly.

Depends on how you will use it. A subway ride inside the city is CNY 2. A bus ride is CNY 0.4.
You can refill at any subway station.
So probably you don't need to put more than the 20 minimum required at first

My reason for getting the smart card was the savings when i used the long distance buses to visit bandaling, mutianyu, and other areas served by the long distance buses
