Retiring in China

I am 62 years old. I am an "overseas Chinese" - Chinese not born in China. How can I retire in China? Although I may have relatives in China I do not know them or any of them. On my own can I apply to live my retirement in China? What type of visa can I apply for?

Hi, as I know, it is difficult to get permanent residence permit for China or retire there now. You may need to start with a tourist L visa.
