About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Do I need a visa for Shanghai if I'm staying less than 72hours if it's not a transit flight?

my itinerary is London - Hong Kong - Shanghai - London, each flight is booked with a seperate airline.

Any advice is appreciated! Thank you!

Yes, it is ok if you have boarding pass from HK to Shanghai and confirmed ticket from Shanghai to London.
