Business trip to China 1st time

I plan to attend the Canton fair in October 2013. Currently I do not have a contact in China or company but interested in Bulding Materials Importation after the fair. Easy for meet all other requirement except the invitation letter. What is your advice. The Fair is the only avenure for me to meet manufacturers in building materials sector.
