About:Chinese Consulate in Sydney

Do I require a Chinese visa if i am a permanent resident in Australia? travelling on CTD?

Hi,

I want to visit Honk Kong for tourism purposes for 10 to 15 days. I am a permanent resident here and will be travelling on a Convention Travel Document also called Titre de Voyage (serving the same purpose as a passport) with a valid Australian Visa . Do I need to apply for a Chinese one? If yes, what is the procedure and how long does it take?

I am not sure if HK accepts a CTD for entry/exit and/or may require a visa. Better contact the Chinese consulate general or embassy or directly consult with HK Immigration Department (General Enquiry Hotline 852 2824 6111, Email: immd.gov.hk|enquiry).

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I checked. Unfortunately, I do require a visa - CTD is a stateless document.
