About:Dujiangyan Irrigation System

I would like to visit Dujiangyan irrigation system and Qingchengshan by myself in one day.

I see I can either get off the train from Chengdu in the Dujiangyan or Qingchengshan stops and there is some distance between them. How should I plan my time so I can visit both sites in one day and get back to Chengdu in the evening? Are the sights far from the train stops?

How should I travel between these two places? Is it difficult to find a taxi in these areas? I do not speak any Chinese.

It is possible to visit the two places in one day.
From Chengdu, it is suggested to take the bullet trains to reach Qingchengshan Raiway Station directly in the mornings. Upon reaching the railway station, you can easily find the mini-buses to take you to reach the mountain. You can finish visting in the morning.
After you finishing visiting the mountain, you can take the same mini-buses to go back to the railway station where you can find direct bus 101 to take you to the DJY Irrigation system.
After that, you can find direct buses to go back to Chengdu at the attraction.
It is not very difficult to find taxis, so please do not worry about it.
