About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Is a business meeting in Beijing with the 72 hour free transit OK?

I would like to travel to Beijing for a single business meeting in Beijing and apply for a 72 hour transit visa. I would remain in Beijing for the 72 hours. I would leave within 72 hours to a third country - probably South Korea. Is this OK? Does anyone have experience of this?
