About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

I am going to marry my gentleman friend. What type of visa do I need? How long can I stay?

You can enter with a L for tourist. This allows 30 days stay. After your get married in China, you can apply for extend of your tourist L to be a family visit L with longer duration.
