About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

A group of 4-5 gentlemen fly into Shanghai from New Zealand - arriving at 0730am

have a meeting, stay overnight and fly out again at 2.15pm the following day - do they need to obtain a visa

Shona, may I know where they will fly to after stopping in Shanghai? If they fly back to New Zealand, you should apply for a business M type beforehand; but if they are New Zealand passport holders and they will fly to a third country or region, they can enjoy the free transit there, and in this case, no entry permit is needed.
