About:Guangzhou East Railway Station

I have read that i have to book the ticket at least 6 hours if you want to travel from guangzhou to shenzhen. is that correct?

Do you mean booking the ticket 6 hours before?
If so, there is no need to book in advance. The tickets can easily bought at the train station.
