Adopted a baby in China now wish to return to the UK

Hello I have been in China for a while now where I adopted my daughter 12 months ago, I now wish to return to the UK, I don't have any visa or passport for my daughter so don't know how to exit China and return home can anyone assist please? I am a British citizen forgot to mention.
