taking taxi at DongzhImen/SanyuaNqiao metro station.

My husband and I will be in Beijing in on April 13th. I plan to take the airport train to either Sanyuanqiao or DongzhImen and then take a taxi to our hotel in a hutong near Andingmen. Which one of these metro stops Sanyuanqiao, Dongzhemen) is easier to catch a taxi? We will each have a piece of luggage and tote bag and I will have a purse. Is it easy to get around the metros, escalators in these two stations with our luggage? Is it crowded at this time (around 13:00, Saturday)? Or should we just take a taxi to our hotel from the airport? How much would this trip cost?
Thank you in advance for your reply.

Either station can be ok. Personally, most people transfer at Dongzhimen, where it may be a little harder to catch a taxi. I recommend you catch a taxi at Sanyuanqiao Station.

Well, in both the stations, there are escalators, so don't worry about the luggage taking. Generally speasking, it may not be that crowded around 13:00. However, on Saturday, it is ahrd to say, maybe more crowded than weekdays.

By Express Train, it costs CNY25 per person and the taxi fare may be about CNY20 from Sanyuanqiao and CNY10 from Dongzhimen. Actually, to take a taxi from the airport to your hotel directly costs around CNY70, which is much more convenient and cheaper by train and taxi transfer. Therefore, I suggest you take a direct taxi to your hotel.
