How to buy tickets?

We will arrive Shanghai March 19 and we want to take the bullet train to Beijing on March 21. Do we have enough time to buy the tikes at the railway station? or should we have to buy them on advance, cause we are from Mexico and on the net they charge us about 50 us dlls for comision.
