About:Shanghai Metro Ticket

Is the 3 day subway pass of Shanghai for unlimited use over 3 days or is it only sufficient for travel up to a value of CNY45?

Meaning if I travel extensively for 2 days up to value CNY45, does that mean I cannot use the card anymore on the 3rd day?

With this pass, passenger could take all the subway lines without limit in 72 hours after the first use. It means that you can still use it on the 3rd day.
