what papers do i need for applying for residence?

iam syrian and iam now in china opening a restaurant, and iam working on the residence papersand i dont want to go to damascus to apply for it there,they told me i can send my papers there ,but i need to do medical exams , where do i need to do it?please help me i dont want to go back again

What visa you hold now? for residence permit application, you can do medical check in China anyway.

If you want to apply Chinese residence permit (based on X, F or Z), it should be done in China. I am confused why you need to send papers back.

i have visa L and the residence papers almost finishedthey told me that i need to go back and enter again to give me the residencebut someone else told me that i dont need to go back i can go to another country and send my papers backso should i need to send my passport or just a copy???please tell me evrythin i need to know

If you hold L, you need to exit China and apply for an Business F in Syria with invitation letter issued by Chinese authority. Sorry, I don't think this can be done by post. You are suggested to do in person.
