About:China Transit Visa

with the 72 hour transit visa for Shanghai can i go on a day trip to Suzhou

I already know that i qualify fine for the transit visa, i just would like to know what it means in the info by i must 'stay' in Shanghai - does this mean that i must sleep each night in shanghai, or does it really mean not leave shanghai at all. I'd really like to make a day trip to Suzhou if possible

Yes, you are not allowed to leave Shanghai to any other city during the 72 hour transit.
