About:Hong Kong MTR Tickets & Fares

my name is Venki. Would be visiting hongkong for 3 days this weekend. Group of 3 people.

Hi there,


Can you advise me which is the best mode to travel, taking MTR or taking a taxi ?

Say am going frm Ngong ping to Kowloon, which one is the best ?

According to my experiences, the MTR is the best mode to travel in HK. Sometimes, bus and ferry can also be very convenient.

Would you tell me your specific location in Kowloon? Anyway, from Ngong Ping to Kowloon, MTR is recommended. Take subway Tung Chung line at Tung Chung Station near Ngong Ping Cable Car Station to Lai King, where transfer to Tsuen Wan line to reach Mongkok or Tsim Sha Stui and the nearby destinations in Kowloon areas.
