About:Macau Visa Policy

i am a perminant resident of Australia traveling on a chinese passport to Hong Kong and macau?

Do I need a visa for both or either?

If you return China via HK, you can stay 7 days without visa. But you can not visit Macao during this trip. If your itinerary is to HK and Macao then back to Australia, you should apply for HK entry permit and Macao visa from Chinese embassy or consulate in Australia according to the place where you reside.
