About:Fanjing Mountain National Nature Reserve

Fanjingshan visit during may ?

we will arrive from Fhenghuang , where to sleep the most near (closer than tongren) ? how long it takes to climb ? is it really 8000, (not 800 ?) ? is it good for 60 years old ? we have only half day for it , than go to Zhenyuan city same day

I just know hostle called Guiranju near the gate of the mountain.
The number of steps is around 8000.
For climbing the 8000 steps, you may need about three to four hours and takes around 2 hours to get down the hill. I do not think it is suitable for 60 year-old senior and it is hard for you to climb in half a day.

thanks for your reply, i think there is another way to get to the top ? , is it interesting to visit there beside climbing to the summit ?

Yeah, a tour guide told me that there are 8,888 steps to go up. But why not take the cable car to get the mountain top as you have 60 year old seniors.

Generally, people spend almost two days to have a full view of the attraction. Half a day is not enough.
