how to apply for Chinese tourist visa

hello,

i am in india. where i can apply for Chinese tourist visa? i mean can i apply it online or elsewhere? can you give me full details and formalities? i would like to visit China and i have many friends in China and they are proper Chinese citizens.

The detailed requirements are listed on this page clearly. You should go to the consular generals or CVASC (Chinese Visa Application Service Center) to apply for it. Currently, CVASC are located in New Delhi, Bombay and Kolkata.

The consular districts of the Chinese Consulate-General in Kolkada covers Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal. The consular districts of the Chinese Consulate-General in Mumbai covers Maharashtra and Karnataka. If you live in one of the mentioned region above, please go to the consulate to submit your application.
