About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

visa for my wife to stay with me in China

hi I am studying in china and my wife is going to be comig for a year,would they issue her a temporary residence permit and what is the procedure?where do I go to get my marriage certificate translated ?because it has to be an officialy approved document

Your wife can apply for an L visa to China, it is possible for her to get a residence permit if you hold X in China with residence permit. You can get your marriage certificate in South Africa, and also authenticated by your local foreign affair office then by Chinese embassy.
