Likelihood of 12 or 24 month visa if previous 3 month visit to China

I spent 3 months in China in 2005. Would this be enough to guarantee me a 12or 24 month multiple entry? Thanks.

I am afraid not. For multiple entry, invitation letter issued by Chinese authority is required. Anyway, visa officers have the final say to your application.
