Applying in person/posting

If I fly down to Brisbane to apply in person for visas for myself & husband ( whilst on a short family visit) can the passports be posted back to me in Cairns. Do I need an appointment to apply in person?

I am afraid not. The CVASC provides post service for application, but I am not sure if they accept mail back service only. You can contact them directly via +61-7-3031-6300.

BTW, if you do not want to apply by post, or wait for days to collect your passport there, you may request for rush service (1-2 working day collection).
