Is there any major festival in April 2013 ?

The Lusheng Festival this year has passed. It was held during Feb. 27 to Mar. 1. I heard that the Sisters Festival is usually celebrated during 15-17th day of the 3rd month of Chinese lunar calendar. This year, it should be April 24-26.

And the date you mentioned is April 12. You are right.

Too bad I have to miss Lusheng & Sisters meal festival. Can you let me know where is the best place for me to be during the April 12th festival(Sanyuesan) ?

As I know, no special activity will be held then. Therefore, I suggest you visit Zhenyuan Ancient Town that day. Its long history endows the town with many rich and generous cultural relics, making it much like a historic garden. You will not be disappointed.

And if you go there a little later, on April 14, it would be Sunday. On that day, the famous Sunday Market will be a must-see destination.
