About:China Visa Application in UK

F with Double entry

I am a Canadian wanting to go on a business trip. I have a duly signed and sealed letter of invitation from the company inviting me with purpose, date and the day to day itinerary and the type (Multiple entries for 12 months). My question is, is this sufficient to get it and can the consulate decide to give me a single entry good for 3 months without having to fill another application? Thanks

In fact, the consulate officer has the final say to your visa type based on the materials you provided.
