How to get a visa to Guilin, China?

My son is a PR with a Malaysian passport working in Singapore.He will go for a holiday to GL , China from 20th - 24th June 2013. Can he do his visa at the China Embassy in Singapore? Please tell me what documents he needs to bring over and how much he needs to pay for his visa.

Yes, he can apply for Chinese visa in Singapore if he has PR working there. Fee is SGD 75 for a single entry under regular processing.
