About:Chinese Embassies in Asia

My Canadian daughter is teaching in Seoul. Does she need a visa to go to Shanghai for a weekend?

My Canadian daughter would like to visit her Aunt and Uncle while they are in Shanghai on holiday. She would join them for less than 48 hours. But, she would have a return flight to Seoul rather than to a third destination. Does she need a visa for a weekend visit to Shanghai?
