arrive china air to beijing need to transfer to china air to chengdu

Hello, I arrive in Beijing on China Air at 5:55 pm (from San Francisco), terminal 3. My next flight is at 7:30 China Air to Chengdu. Is this enough time to go through customs, etc., and then get to my next flight? How far are the departure gates apart? Thank you.

I'm afraid time is tight for your transit. It needs at least 2 hours. However, as you use China Airline for both the journeys, you just need to check at T3. If you hurry up, maybe you can still catch that. Oh, one more thing, to save time, you'd better have the luggage check-through service in advance.
