do i need visa?

I am Kyrgyzstan citizen and international student in Canada.For summer break I want to go home to Kyrgyzstan. And my flight is Vancouver-Guangzhou-Urumqi-Bishkek. I am not planning to go outside of airport in China.

How long will you stay at Guangzhou and Urumqi Airports? If you stay less than 24 hours in these two airports, you won't be required for a visa. But you have to apply for the stay permit at the airport.

No, only a premit allows you to transit in two cities, you should apply for it in Guangzhou airport.
