I suggest you to attending some Chinese trainings provided by some famous univerisity if you want to learn mandarin well.
As far as I know, Shanghai Jiaotong University-Malaysia Global Hanyu & Culture Center and Kongzi Institute for the Teaching of Chinese Language at University of Malaya are very famous institutes in your country and you may find more information about them on http://english.hanban.org/.

I am interested to study mandarin in China where I am forced to use the language everyday with no other options. I can also learn the culture as well as experience living among the people of China.
