z-visa cancellation

I am here on a z-visa, had to quit my job for personal reasons and now my employer is saying he will cancel my visa and have me blacklisted. If he is able to cancel my visa how many days do I have to leave the country? Will I be blacklisted from all categories of visas or just have trouble getting a new work visa.

I assume you already got the temporary residence permit, right? The employer might cancel your work permit but you can stay in China before your TRP expires. If you don't want to leave China, you might try to seek for another employer. However, you have to gain a release letter from your previous employer in order to work for your current employer. I am afraid that you may not get it since your employer is making difficulties for you.

If the employer cancels your work permit, you will have a bad record. Then you might have trouble when you apply for work visa again.
